What started as a bit of fun between NRMU's (Norwich Music Blog) song-writing buddies has turned into a full-blown 7" vinyl release and dedicated website!

This is what they said on their SoundCloud page;

"Since James Leeds suggested the idea of making songs that lasted around 1 minute in length the 1 Minute Wonder SoundCloud group went a bit mental as people wrote and added all their bestest efforts. There were loads of great ones.

Now, in light of the project’s success, NRONE Records of Norwich have offered to put out a 7” album of 1 Minute Wonders."

Since Monkey packed his bags and declared he was heading off on his holidays things have been quiet at Monkey Love HQ. In fact, the office has become a filthy mess without his fearsome supervision and we are frantically trying to tidy up before he comes back.

During his time away Monkey sent us some postcards from travels;













So we have cleaned up all the old banana skins, sorted out the recycling and rebooted Rupert in eager anticipation for the return of the hairy boss.

The fantastic NRMU (Norwich Music Blog) have made sonofsam's 'specko mcholman rides a tram' their Download of the Week!

This track was made using LSDJ on a Nintendo Game Boy and it has the extra cred of being NRMU's first 'completely-made-on-a-gameboy-download of the week'! Fancy that?!

During 2010, Robberriff set himself a project. This project was to create a track each month with an exclusive piece of artwork and make it available to download. He did this.

So now, in 2011, he has compiled these tracks into a full album, which has been re-mastered by recording engineer and sound whizz David Pye, and is available from Robberriff's Bandcamp page.

Creative ace Linsdins has joined Norwich's ShopArt! project and is currently exhibiting work in Westlegate.

ShopArt! is a project funded by Norwich City Council and managed by Norwich Arts Centre with the aim to use empty shops in the city to create a positive perception among businesses, local people and visitors, raise the profile of local artists and provide opportunities for both emerging and established artists to take part, sell and market their work.
