sonofsam

I have many influences.
I like many genres.
I like the idea of using as many natural sounds as possible. Kitchens are good for this, there are many good sounds in a kitchen.
I also like strange sounds, so sometimes those natural sounds get changed a little with the help of a computer. This is necessary.
My production values are low, I like a rough edge, this is not an excuse.
I like percussion.
I like panning.
Sometimes I pan percussion. Other times I don't.
I like to mix strange sounds and happy melodies.
I prefer to use instruments that I can use with my hands.
I like doing covers of other people's songs as they are usually better than my own.
I like collaborating with other people who have different influences.
I have recently grown fond of chip-music because of Jellica and Dr. Dru. Now I hate them. Just kidding.
I like to play other people's records, especially on vinyl. I do that at least once a month with my Beat Brew home-boys. I love them, they have great taste in music.
